We were using an old rusty cleaver at a friend’s country house. Since I had a previous experience replacing a knife handle, I decided to restore it as a gift.

I used epoxy glue, as you can see

let it rest for some time

after cutting the pins and sanding a little

alter polishing the handle with oil

Now it looks like the cleaver used by Scout in Team Fortress 2
