Focaccia
Focaccia is a type of Italian flatbread known for its soft, airy interior and crispy crust, traditionally flavored with olive oil and herbs
Ingredients
- 600g all-purpose flour
- 1 spoon sugar
- 1 spoon salk
- 1 spoon dry yeast or 30g fresh yeast
- 500ml water
Topping
- fresh mozzarella
- cherry tomatoes
- olive oil
- rock salt
- oregano
Instructions
- Combine the flour, sugar, salt and yeast
- Add the water and knead until smooth
- Let it rest for 20 minutes
- Knead again until dough is smooth and a bit elastic (add more flour if needed)
- Let it rest for 12 hours outside the fridge
- Let it rest for 12 hours inside the fridge
- Put the dough in an oiled baking tray. Massage the dough with more olive oil
- Add the fresh mozzarela, tomatoes, salt and oregano
- Let it rest for 1 hour
- Bake for about 50 minutes at 200ÂșC
