I decided to change how I’m hosting images for the blog.

I took a long break from writing to the blog due to a severe case of laziness. After a long time I was not even able to run it locally again :(

So now I want to restart my blogging hobby with fresh content, design, and a new framework. This post is about how I migrated my blog from Jekyll to Hugo.

This is the Swiss part of the Jakobsweb starting in Rorschach, also called “Rorschacher Ast”.

I bought a very nice Ricoh KR-10 Super camera for a symbolic price.

I found the deal in an APP called Nebenan which by the way has a very nice objective to give a new purpose to those things in your home that your are no longer using.

It’s been only a few weeks since I’ve completed the first half of the way, and it was amazing! This way, I was really looking forward to do the second half of the Münchner Jakobsweg as soon as possible.

The Münchner Jakobsweg" is a route that starts in Munich and leads through the Allgäu to Lake Constance. The whole way would take at least 10 days, and since I only took 3 days off, I decided to do half of the way.

The whole process can take a while, but once you have the levain you will become addicted to this recipe.

Today I will show you how I host the images used in the posts. There are many methods you can use, however I found this one to be the most practical, with no additional tools or services needed.
